The EFL Foundation Course
The Education for Life Foundation course is open to teachers, parents, homeschoolers, and education enthusiasts. The course introduces the experience of exploring and practicing the first principles at the base of the Education for Life system.
These principles are manifested in many dynamic tools that Education for Life
teachers and parents use every day to experience deep joy in the journey of
educating children.
EFL aims to help children to awaken to their highest potential. For this to happen,
our training is a journey to discover our highest potential and develop all the qualities that allow us to become mature, joyful, loving guides for children.

Level 1
Principles of Education For Life
In the middle of this course educators have the opportunity to begin a deep guided self-development journey, with moments of introspection, observation, and experience that will make them more aware of their potential and educational role. It’s an introductory experience that supports the understanding of every aspect of the Education for Life System as holistic education. Through practical resources, tools and elements of inspiration, educators are encouraged to experience the transformation and expansion effect of this method and appreciate first-hand the benefits of the journey that they are going to offer children and adolescents.
Level 2
Education For Life in Action
(From this level on the course is restricted to teachers. Parents and homeschoolers have access only to some specific subjects.)
At the very core of this course is the practical aspect, which is a key point of Education for Life, i.e., helping educators activate tools to guide children and adolescents through experiential learning.
You will learn to take them by the hand and help them understand directly what universal values such as kindness, calmness, cooperation, friendship, enthusiasm, courage, etc. really are. After having those experiences, children absorb them.
You will also learn how to master unique aspects of EFL, such as Progressive Development, consisting of different types of intervention encouraging children to choose expansive behaviors that give joy to them and their group. Emphasis will be placed also on other fundamental aspects of EFL’s view of children and their harmonic development, such as the Tools of Maturity, and further crucial items that promote an organic and holistic development.
Level 3
Education For Life Resources
At this stage of the training each educator can choose to focus on a specific age group: 0-6; 6-12; 12-18; 18-24. Many different themes, examples and experiences are available for each group, e.g., activities to open the heart; different ways of sharing yoga and meditation practices; how to nurture creativity; the academic curriculum and examples of activities and experiences to offer children; what are each age group’s life skills and how to develop them; “service to others” activities; nature activities; mindful discipline; how to share values with others.
Educators will develop skills to plan classroom work based on the age group/groups they have chosen, and techniques to introduce new themes in a flowing and stimulating way.
Level 4
Living Education For Life
The fourth step consists in an on-site training period with a personal tutor monitoring activities and making sure you really understood this education system and can implement it effectively with children every day. At the end of the training period, provided your competency has been confirmed, you will obtain an Education for Life teacher certificate.
Level 5
The last step is restricted to those who have already acquired an EFL teacher certificate and aspire to become trainers themselves and share with other people this beautiful experience of growth and expansion of our highest potential in serving children.
